GOD AND GOD ALONE

I have heard people say their gods will see them through but I ask myself are they really god? Do they live forever? How do they come to be? Is there limit to when they can exist? Lucifer himself is he a god? The bible tells us that there was war in heaven the devil desire to be above God, he himself is not god but an angel designated to adore God (the devil was created with precious stones). The question is why did the devil desired to be above God? This was as result of pride, ‘is it only God?’ (The expression of his pride explains that the devil envies the worship due to God). Isaiah 14:12-14 KJV,

12  How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13  For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
        14   I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

In this entirety, God is the only God and He alone is God there is no one in the spirit or in the physical that is known to be God. He has no end, ageless, no one knows the beginning of God rather He knows all things. He makes all things; nothing came into existence without His approval. He is God alone.
God alone approved of men that are His to be gods, whom He has chosen,

I (GOD) have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
Psalm 82:6 KJV

Someone might say if then God has approved of man to be god then they can be worshipped. I strongly say NO (strongly disagree). The next verse of Psalm 82 verse 7 gave a limit to what men of whom God gave power;

             But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. (KJV)

That’s why He so much cherish the humble which He says, ‘He exalts’, but to the proud ‘He looks from afar’.

  But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace     unto the humble.
James 4:6
