Visibility and Tangibility (Continued)

How do gentiles easily come to terms with God's presence in my life? How do they easily relate with it? And how does it become obvious to them? Through the works of my hands! That is at least one way! God's presence advertises and publicizes itself through the works of my hands. For Abraham: "God is with you IN ALL THAT YOU DO!" Gen. 21:22 For Joseph: "And his master saw that the Lord was with him AND THAT THE LORD MADE ALL HE DID TO PROSPER (To Work out)." Gen. 39:3  Emphasy Mine Moses prayed: "And let the beauty of our God be upon us, AND ESTABLISH THE WORK OF OUR HANDS FOR US; YES, ESTABLISH THE WORKS OF OUR HANDS. Psalm 90:17 Some won't agree until we stroll down the New Testament: "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and Power, who went about DOING GOOD and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, FOR GOD WAS WITH HIM." Acts 10:38 The presence of God in the earthly life of our Lord was justified an

Valentine: LOVE

Love does not primarily honour your feelings. Love primarily secures your future. "I know the thoughts that I have towards you, thoughts of good and not of evil, to give you a hope and A FUTURE." Jer. 29:11 God is a futurist. He is committed to your future. There is nothing that He does to you without your future in view . Every circumstance He sends your way, is sent as it relates constructively to your future. If it will favour your future, God is in. If not, He is out of the deal, or that would be EVIL. How you feel, perhaps important, becomes secondary. He will always be found to act in your best interest. He has signed that pact. At times, Loving yourself might be hurtful because Loving yourself is doing things that are for your best interest. Not everything that interests you is in your interest. Just like "forcing" a kid to school might make him cry initially, but will be in his best interest ultimately. And anything otherwise would be EVIL in its true sen

THE JOSEPH EFFECT Welcoming you to a bright new day with the "Joseph EFFECT" of God's presence manifested at the workplace. "And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand....THEN HE MADE HIM OVERSEER OF HIS HOUSE AND ALL THAT HE HAD HE PUT UNDER HIS AUTHORITY. So it was, from the time that he had made him OVERSEER of his HOUSE and all that he had, that the Lord blessed the Egyptian's HOUSE for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the Lord was upon all that he had in the house and in the field. THUS HE LEFT ALL HE HAD IN JOSEPH'S HAND AND HE DID NOT   KNOW WHAT HE HAD EXCEPT FOR THE BREAD WHICH HE ATE...." Gen. 39:3-6 Imagine that all you touch at the workplace prospers, and every department you are posted to, experiences a boom. Everything transaction you handle thrives. Every idea you bring to the table works out (for that is what prosperity actually means). It appears you have a MIRACLE

THE JACOB EFFECT I suspect you want to know what the Jacob Effect is. I am willing to share with you. It's so simple! "PLEASE STAY IF I HAVE FOUND FAVOR IN YOUR EYES, for I have learned by experience that the Lord has blessed me for your sake...." Gen. 30:27 It is that the presence of God in your life has brought so much benefit to your benefactors that they now become your beneficiaries. And it is given to your boss and superiors to know that the increase is coming because of you. The presence of God in your life so makes you priceless at the workplace that you are BEGGED to stay. No institution wants to lose its most-valuable asset. The need for what God has given you to offer is expressed. And the desire for you not to go is not hidden. Your employer(s) don't  mind putting "any" price tag on keeping you. They want you around. They want you to be in company. You are the agency of Blessing. And you are the miracle! It's time to become the mirac

THE ISAAC EFFECT Earlier, Isaac had been pushed away by Abimelech and his gang. "And Abimelech said to Isaac, GO AWAY FROM US, FOR YOU ARE MUCH MIGHTIER THAN WE (you are too much/ powerful for us.) Gen. 26:16 (Addition Mine) Isaac was yet to do any harm, yet he was rejected. God's presence, the same that brings attraction in many places, also brings rejection in certain places. It's the same presence! Not everyone can bear its weight. Not everyone can stand to have you so radiant, smart, joyful, dutiful, upright, resourceful, productive, wise and favoured all at the same time. It seems too good to be true. It hurts some. It stuns others. It's rare to them. You might be in a place right now where you are persecuted for doing nothing other than your duty. Don't be worked up. It's not a strange thing. It just might be the Isaac Effect. "You don't have to have done anything". It does happen. When light steps into darkness, darkness might attempt

Concerning Jacob I found this: "And Laban said to him, 'please stay, if I have found favour in your eyes, for I have LEARNED BY EXPERIENCE THAT THE LORD HAS BLESSED ME FOR YOUR SAKE." Gen. 30:27 How about Joseph? "The LORD was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. AND HIS MASTER SAW THAT THE LORD WAS WITH HIM and that the Lord made all he did to prosper in his hand." Gen. 39:2-3 Four generations of the Partriarchs, the presence of God in their lives was interpreted and acknowledged by their gentile associates. This is indicative of the lineage of blessings that we are in, and the potential of God's presence in our lives. How can the Invisible Presence of God become seen? That's the next legitimate question. I know. How can others "outside the block" come to terms with the Presence of that resides in us? I'll give it a shot! But before I do, let me show you three effects of God&

Can the Presence of God be seen?

That's the question shoved at me as I attempted to study the book of Genesis eleven years ago. I had found something astonishing in the lives of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph. Four generations of the patriarchs. Same phenomenon. Certainly not a fluke! Amazing observation! For Abraham: "...Abimelech and Phicol, the commander of his army, spoke to Abraham, saying, "GOD IS WITH YOU IN ALL THAT YOU DO..." Gen. 21:22 What? Gentiles can see it? For Isaac: "...Then Abimelech came to him from Gerar with Ahuzzath, one of his friends, and Phicol the commander of his army....But they said, WE HAVE CERTAINLY SEEN THAT THE LORD IS WITH YOU...." Gen. 26: 26 & 28 If the Presence of God is with a man, others can see it; Gentiles can see it! It is visible to them. What did I find concerning Jacob and Joseph? I'll show you. #VisibilityandTangibility Faith Oluwagbesan Lead Pastor FGC CWB February 2019

VISIBILITY AND TANGIBILITY", or say "THE VISIBLE AND TANGIBLE PRESENCE".

Last Sunday I preached about "VISIBILITY AND TANGIBILITY", or say "THE VISIBLE AND TANGIBLE PRESENCE". "No man has seen God at anytime; the only unique Son or the only begotten God, Who is in the bossom (in the intimate presence) of the Father, He has declared Him (He has revealed Him and brought Him where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known) John 1:18 ( The Amplified Version) The high task of Sonship is to bring an invisible God into a visible place. It is to bring a Heavenly God into an Earthly understanding, where humans can realize that He not only has an intellect but rich emotions and depth as well. He is not boring neither is He weird. God might have been quite misrepresented. Sonship comes to the rescue. For believers who might be described as "Heaven-obsessed", at the expense of Earthly relevance, God has a message -  I AM THE GOD OF ALL FLESH (as well), Jer. 32:27 (Addition Mine). He is the God of all the form
