Conscious and Guidance

John Hagee  00:00 John Hagee - Conscious and Guidance.mp3 Download  Audio  |  Video What is Conscience? Conscience is a God-given instrument so that we can determine right from wrong in a spiritual matter. Conscience is the lamp of God, saying, this is the way: walk in it. Conscience doesn't say, well, I need 4.000 people saying, "This is the way". You only need the Word of God to lead you, to say, "This is the way". Conscience is the compass of the soul. Conscience is God's umpire that's in your heart. And when you violate the law of God, your conscience hounds you. It will turn your posturepedic bed into a bed of hot coals. Your conscience will do that. A quiet conscience can sleep in thunder. A clear conscience is like a mighty fortress in the day of battle. What made Adam and Eve hide from God in the garden? Conscience. They knew he said don't eat this forbidden fruit. They did it, and they ran, a...

WITNESSES: THE NEED FOR REVELATION

(Continued) Revelation makes us witnesses of the truth. It makes us                     " _accomplices_ " of Divine Facts. It                " _implicates_ " us, it involves us and we become attached for life. It then becomes difficult to betray the truth, because we have seen it and we have been seen by it. My first recourse to Revelation lies in the fact that it back-tracks spiritual reality. I mean that the day of Revelation is the day we catch up with long-existing facts. It is not the day those things occur, rather it is the day we catch up with them. The day I discover I am a sinner, what a day! But it is not the day I became a sinner. No! I became a sinner over six thousand years ago when Adam ate the apple. It is a divine fact. The divine verdict was this _" All have Sinned..."_ Romans 3:23. When Adam si...

UNDERSTANDING THE BLESSING

Gen. 1:26-28 We begin the year with THE BEGINNING. And i foresee that there are many references God will make to that scriptural place in the quarter beginning this year. Genesis 1:26-28, we know the story. God had thought aloud about his intention to replicate Himself and the rest of the Godhead in a project called MAN. And now He got just what He wanted. Then at first inspection, His very next move was this: "....And God Blessed them...." Gen. 1:28 Short but powerful. Words of Power! Revelation! Words that could evoke serial sermons for a lifetime. Very pregnant and Turgid! When God saw man, He felt like blessing "him" ("her"inclusive, for this discourse). The BLESSING, "Barak", was God's first interaction with man. The BLESSING was God's first feeling for man. It was God's spontaneity and it is His original emotion for man. It is God's "Truest" feeling for man. When God was left to interact with man, He was fou...
