FRESH OIL

Text:  John 14:15-18, Joel 2:28

Fresh oil, oil is not a new word, it is used to cook, to ease a force between two objects, bake, etc.

Defining Fresh
(Adjective — neos — neh'-os, neh-o'-ter-os ) "new" (in respect of time, as distinct from kainos, "new," in respect of quality), is translated "fresh" in the Revised Version of Matthew 9:17; Mark 2:22; Luke 5:38 , with reference to wineskins. Note: Glukus, "sweet," is used in James 3:11,12 (in this verse, Authorised Version, "fresh," Revised Version, "sweet," as in both elsewhere); Revelation 10:9,10.

Defining Oil.
(Noun Neuter — elaion — el'-ah-yon )
"olive oil," is mentioned over 200 times in the Bible. Different kinds were known in Palestine. The "pure," Revised Version (Authorised Version, "beaten"), mentioned in Exodus 27:20; 29:40; Leviticus 24:2; Numbers 28:5 (now known as virgin oil), extracted by pressure, without heat, is called "golden" in Zechariah 4:12 . There were also inferior kinds. In the New Testament the uses mentioned were (a) for lamps, in which the "oil" is a symbol of the Holy Spirit, Matthew 25:3,4,8; (b) as a medicinal agent, for healing, Luke 10:34; (c) for anointing at feasts, Luke 7:46; (d) on festive occasions, Hebrews 1:9 , where the reference is probably to the consecration of kings; (e) as an accompaniment of miraculous power, Mark 6:13 , or of the prayer of faith, James 5:14 . For its general use in commerce, see Luke 16:6; Revelation 6:6; 18:13 .

The Holy Spirit and His Significance.
The third Person in the Trinity. Immaterial, Immortal, Invisible being. John 14:15-18, Joel 2:28. (Hymn: Immortal, Invisible). The Holy Spirit stands by us in trials, situations that aren't palatable, temptations, circumstances, persecutions, enjoyment, among others. The Holy Spirit of God provides an unending strength of God to our weak and feeble knees. He takes our self and put in the person of Jesus into us encouraging us to be like Jesus (Christians) for the world around us to see and glorify our Heavenly Father. Many lives are dying and not compromising their faith, He is in action (case study: Stephen, Kim Davis, US clerk, Rev. 2:10).
Some people in this world that call themselves Christians are either with and without oil, which stands for the Holy Spirit. Some of which will be seeking for the Holy Spirit as if He can be created by men.
The Holy Spirit is so gentle, that the Bible says, He is like a dove, He is for peace and letting us to exhibit it, it is the fruit (outcome) of His reign in us. Wisdom and intelligence, truth and freedom, greatness and success, fruitfulness and trustworthiness among others are what He will make man to experience if and only if we can allow Him.  The person of the Holy Spirit is crucially important to us in this changing world of sin. One thing is certain, the Holy Spirit will do much more of Himself. But the world's ways are more of evil than good. The existence of the Holy Spirit reduces sins, though, the sin of the world is increasing every now and then, He convicts the soul even though Christians don't preach to some people* that doesn't mean we shouldn't preach at all, but converts the soul, nobody does that. Jesus assured us habitual fellowship with Him, the Holy Spirit, bearing witness with us that we are sons and daughters of God. The Holy Spirit, groaning on our behave to God. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8) makes us to be what God created us to be; those that must worship God, must worship Him in truth and in spirit (John 9), the life we live is spiritually physical making right decisions to the fullness of Christ Jesus, our life to people is seen with evidence that God is with us.

Will the Holy Spirit remain forever?
Will He be available in eternity? Yes, He will be much more available because He is God in the Trinity, but during the tribulations (the reign of the anti-Christ), He will not be available at all. Imagine that life without the Holy Spirit indwelling in this world, sin will be in the increase.

Finally.
The Holy Spirit is the most important person dwelling in our lives. His personality is with us today and we must allow Him, if and only if we desire the best.
