Faith is Relational

Faith is not conditional, Faith is Relational.
It is a relationship with the Author (beginner) and the Finisher (end) of Faith, Jesus. Faith pleases God, it is not based on the law of Moses, it is based on Grace.
How then should you live? By Faith, not of the old testament (old covenant) but according to new testament (new covenant).
The old testament (old covenant) was established by the blood of an animal (that is, though the animal doesn't have the knowledge of sin, not blemish, the animal has not enough capacity, yet it dies as a result of sin because sin result to death).
So, as the animal dies because of sin, the sin offering present the offer to God that the sin of that man is gone but that can't stay for a long time because it is the blood of an animal, that was the old testament (old covenant).
You should understand that sin came into the world through one man (ref. Roms. 5:17), then where those it come from, it came from the devil, he had sinned from the beginning, what he did was to plant the seed of sin that through such means mankind should be of sin, remember God said mankind should be productive ( an order on earth).
So, you didn't sin because you want to, you sin because the seed is in you which was inherited through Adam, this has grown from generation to generation (you should remember that a child is not taught how to lie or steal... he just exhibit it). This was successful from the past on the foundation to doubt what God has said about His commandment.
Doubt (unbelieving), this makes mankind independent on himself not depending on God, all things were created by God, all that we have now (cars, houses etc) are recreation (from God's creation).
Therefore, the new testament (new covenant) came to replace the old testament (old covenant), it wasn't given to remove the content of the law but to complete it on the blood of another higher sacrifice done by God, Himself (remember everything comes from God), He sent His Son, dwelling in the Father, for He said I am in the Father and the Father in Me (ref.: John 15).

The new testament (new covenant) was established on the blood of a Man, Jesus (fully God, fully Man), that all men who comes to Him must believe (live in Faith, on the bases of Jesus Faith ref.: Heb. 12:2), because He is the Author {beginner} and the Finisher {end} of Faith. Then you will now see that the law which was given through Moses was inconclusive, He will write His laws on the table of your heart, you will live by it by Faith.

You will understand your position in Christ, because His position becomes your position, remember the animal's death because of sin makes a man position to be in such position of not blemish this won't last. Now, your position is in His position, as He is so are you.
