CRASHING WALLS

Through the adventure of the Israelites, we see symbols of the obstacles a believer might face in the apprehension of God's promise. One time they faced the Red Sea, the other time it was a huge wall. I think with the Red sea, they might even be able to see the journey ahead of them, but with a wall it is a black-out.

Often when we hit a wall in our adventure, we experience a black-out. We often cannot see what the other side looks like.

If it be a Sea, it must be crossed. If it be a Mountain, it must be climbed or leveled. If it be a tree, it must be uprooted. If it is a door, it must key-opened. But what if it is a wall? If it is a wall, it must be crashed! It must crumble! Its Spiritual destiny is the same as with the Walls of Jericho. We must be wise enough to know. We should approach it like the children of Israel did. Their story is given for our instruction (Romans 15:4).

Please do not pray for your "Red Sea" to be taken away or dried up. That is belittling God! For God's sophistication is in His ability to make a dry path right through your Red Sea, and to make you walk through unruffled. God's mastership is in His capacity to crash the walls before you like a pack of cards. It is about what God can craft with your "obstacles". Please know what a high-grade miracle is!

How did the Children of Israel trump the wall of Jericho? Joshua 6. With a Divine Instruction, with Obedience, and with Dilligent Persistence . Walls often require instructions. They weren't told to offer a sacrifice. They were given an instruction to strictly follow. Their contribution to the crashing of the wall was in their ability to follow instructions, and to do so dilligently even in the face of fruitlessness.

They went round the wall for three days with nothing supernatural visible; not even the smallest sign. But they showed up on the fourth day...and on the fifth day...and on the sixth day. My friend, if they didn't believe, they wouldn't have come back. Nothing seemed to happen. The Wall seemed not to shake a bit.

But, Oh how they should have known what colossal damage they did to the wall with every stroke of Obedience!!! Only if they had seen that by every step of Dilligent Obedience, they weakened the bond that held that Wall together!!!

Though they saw nothing for six days, something happened on each of those days. Something too " microscopic " for the human eye.

On the seventh day.... on that fateful day... they woke up early, got their acts together, reinforced their Obedience and wore their dilligence again. This time, they multiplied it by seven. And just as they circled the wall for the seventh time, the priests blew their thing, and down came the legendary wall; like a pack of cards, not one stroke of hammer used on it. The Mighty Wall of Jericho simply gave up!

So we see that the Crashing of such walls belongs to men of Obedience and, in fact, men of Dilligent Obedience. It belongs to men who follow the Divine Instruction dilligently. Men who know that the Supernatural is not defined by physical signs. Men who know that the absence of a physical sign is not the absence of a Heavenly promise!

It was the Hammer of Obedience, yes, the Sledge Hammers of Dilligence that took the chances of Jericho's Wall away.
